First opened in 1993, this gorgeous bookshop is situated in Thurles, Co. Tipperary and has a broad and carefully curated range of books for every type of reader. There is also a café on site, as well as an area dedicated to musical instruments and accessories.

Bookworm bookshop utilised their 2025 grant to host a variety of events for their community including their very popular chess club and craft evenings.
2026:
Bookworm will be using their 2026 grant to enable the hosting of live mic events as well as literary, craft and games activities for nursing home residents.
